Recently we asked students to tell us why they love St. Louise de Marillac School and why they value their Catholic education. Here are just a few of the responses we received.
I love St. Louise because it teaches me to be like Jesus and I appreciate all the school does for me. I value Catholic education because I think am lucky to be taught about God. – 8th grade
I love St. Louise because it has given me 8 years of fun times, wonderful classes, and most importantly, it has given me the privilege of religion inside of school. – 8th grade

I enjoy being at St. Louise because each and every student, teacher, and faculty member is genuinely kind. Not every school has people like this, and I am very lucky to be attending St. Louise. I value my Catholic education because I am able to learn about my faith every day. Rules are more enforced so the day runs smoothly. I love everything about my education and wouldn’t change it at all. – 8th grade
I love St. Louise School because it is an awesome education, with a wide variety of teachers, and a close-knit family of students. I love how the school is for grades K-8, so we have grown up with each other since we were five. St. Louise is awesome! I value my Catholic education because we learn about God and all His teachings. – 7th grade
I love St. Louise because there is a strict no bullying rule. I also love it because there are always renovations going on in the school so there are always new and improved ways of learning. I value my Catholic education because I get to learn about my Catholic faith while learning about science, social studies, math, and reading. – 7th grade
I love St. Louise because of the teachers who know who you are. When you are there, you get to see the young children that used to be us a few years ago. I love the closeness of everyone in the school reaching from 8th grade down to Kindergarten. – 7th grade
I love St. Louise because of my friends, teachers, fun activities, and learning new things. St. Louise is a great place to go to school and I don’t want to leave after 8th grade. – 7th grade

I love STL because you can get a lot of individual attention, a good education, and my friends and teachers are always there for me. I value my Catholic education because I get to learn about my Lord and I am able to talk about my religion. – 7th grade

I am thankful because some kids in the world can’t afford to go to a Catholic school, so I am truly blessed. – 6th grade

I love St. Louise because my friends and I get to have fun in a Catholic way. Also, I get to have fun learning about our Lord, history, science, and a lot more. St. Louise also has a lot of activities during and after school. Also, Catholic education provides me with a great way to treat my siblings, parents, grandparents, and friends. – 5th grade
I love St. Louise School because all of the teachers encourage me along with all of my friends. Teachers and other adults will listen to you and if something is wrong they will care. Everyone here is treated like a huge family. I love my Catholic education because I feel that if you are a Catholic, you should learn about God every day, not just on the weekends. St. Louise does the best things for students. I would need three more pages. – 5th grade
I love St. Louise School because it gives me a hands-on experience with everything. The teachers are kind, supportive, and caring. St. Louise also makes sure that new students are welcome and that everyone is in a safe and friendly environment. I love my Catholic education because every day I learn something new about Jesus and the church. St. Louise prepares me for the Sacraments ahead of me such as Confirmation. St. Louise prepares me for the new changes at Mass and prepares me for my Catholic future. – 5th grade
I love St. Louise because everyone in this building is so nice, friendly, and caring. This school teaches us to be responsible. The students and teachers are extremely helpful. St. Louise is a wonderful place to be. – 5th grade
I value my Catholic education because down the road, I think it will help me to make good decisions. The teachers are stricter which helps you get better grades. They also teach you how to behave, which is very important. You learn so much here, it’s like you don’t want to leave. – 5th grade
I love St. Louise because the faculty is so nice, caring, and helpful. Also, I love going to church on Fridays. Finally, it is so much easier to wake up and know what to wear. Wearing my uniform, I don’t have to worry about it. I value Catholic education because I love learning about my faith and going to mass as a community. – 5th grade

I love St. Louise because all of us are like one big, happy family with prayers, learning, and love. I feel very safe when I’m here at St. Louise.
