Cross Country: Boys and Girls

The Saint Louise Cross Country program is a fall sport and open to boys and girls from 3rd to 8th grade.  The program kicks off the first week of August, and we typically practice from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursday at the Montour Trail (meeting at Al’s Café parking lot) and 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. on Saturdays at Gilfillan Trail (meeting in Westminster Church parking lot.)  There are approximately 8 weekday meets (2-3 home meets at STL School, and the others in South Park and other South Hills locations), and the races are approximately 1.3 – 1.8 miles long.  The team did a fabulous job during the fall of 2011 and the results for the Diocesan Championship follow below:
