Girls Volleyball is open to students in grades 4-8.
St. Louise Girls Volleyball – Junior Varsity
Congratulations to the Junior Varsity Green Team for finishing 5th at the 2011 Girls Volleyball Diocesan Championship on Sunday, October 30th. They defeated St. Philips in the first round and but lost to St. Elizabeth’s in the quarterfinals. The team members are Elyse Belak, Alyssa Eicker, Tessa Helfer, Clare Kovacs, Kalie Kuss, Cora Marchand, Abbey Ottaviano, Rianna Piacquadio, Emma Stuebgen, and Morgan Sullivan.
St. Louise Girls Volleyball – Varsity
Congratulations to the Varsity Green Team for finishing 4th at the 2011 Girls Volleyball Diocesan Championship on Saturday, October 29th. They beat St. Angela in the first round and then beat St. John’s in the semi-finals before losing to the eventual champion JFK. The team lost a very close match for 3rd place to St. Gabriel. The team members are Maggie Broring, Kate Carnivale, Mary Cugini, Jillian Gisoni, Lauren Hardinger, Madison Klutch, Abigail Morrow, Olivia Pettigrew, Taya Sciulli, and Morgan Smith.
Also congratulations to the Varsity White Team for finishing 5th at the Diocesan Championship on Saturday. They defeated St. Marys in the first round and but lost to St. Alphonsus in the quarterfinals. The team members are Samantha Bayer, Abby Bender, Molly Boehner, Kelly Broring, Riley Drusbasky, Emily Mamula, Megan Manion, Rachel McClaine, Sarah Neky, Sydney Peretin, Shayla Staley, Rachel Sullivan, and Jessica Viehman.
