In addition to the ordinary operating expenses associated with running a school, there are capital needs for St. Louise as well. Significant investments have been made in the school over the past several years. Examples include:
- New computer lab
- Updated technology in the classrooms
- Library renovation
- Cafeteria renovation
- Classroom renovations
- Science lab renovation
- New lockers
To ensure that we meet the long term capital requirements for the school, an investment plan has been developed for the core areas of facilities, curriculum, technology, and athletics. In today’s world, technology is quickly outdated and new, innovative learning tools are available each year. Our school building is approaching 50 years old which requires investment to update and maintain many of the systems and the structure itself. Growing enrollment is going to necessitate expansion at some point. We plan to utilize a proactive approach to manage our needs going forward to ensure that we meet the needs of our students and school families.
