St. Louise de Marillac School’s Latin Club is for students in grades 5-8 who have an interest in the history, language, art, culture, and mythology of the ancient Romans. Latin Club meets on Thursdays from 3:00 to 4:00 PM after school. Through activities and projects, students work to prepare for the Exploratory Latin Exam, a national exam, sponsored by the Excellence through Classics committee of the American Classical League. Members of the Latin Club also serve as docents for the Ancient Coin Museum which was established at St. Louise de Marillac over 6 years ago. The Ancient Coin Museum serves as a model for 9 other school Ancient Coin Museums across the country.
