Forensics

The St. Louise de Marillac School Forensics Team is available to 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. Forensics is a public speaking activity in which the students compete interscholastically with Catholic, private and public schools in the Southwestern Pennsylvania State Forensics League. A typical season includes three regular tournaments held on Saturdays in November, December and January. The season concludes in February/March with the Finals Tournament. Students may choose to compete in one of the following categories: poetry, prose, drama, declamation, impromptu, extemporaneous speaking, and multiple reading.
