Student Technology Team

The Student Technology Team at St. Louise de Marillac School consists of students in grades 7 and 8 who have been recommended by a teacher and have demonstrated knowledge in a particular area of technology beyond what is learned in computer class. They meet weekly after school for additional training using new media and equipment.  These students work on projects throughout the school year and provide basic trouble shooting for technical issues in the classroom to assist teachers and other students.  Additional responsibilities include: delivery and set up of audio visual equipment when needed, taking digital photos and video clips at school events, production of the morning announcements, video commercials and slide shows from school events, and editing materials for print and the web.
